WALANG KAHALINTULAD ANG GALINTUJA. What a brilliant stroke of luck that we were able to get DRAGONFRUITS from Brgy. Galintuja in Maria Aurora, Aurora. Not from a single farmer but from the roadside stalls than line the road along the national highway. Stopping at one, and buying all, stopping at the next, and buying all, until finally we’ve gathered everything they have in the car. Even then, it only comes up to 160 kilos. Slim pickings, this really is the end of the Dragonfruit season. It’s quiet now, this place where farmers cried when we came in to rescue. Until next year ulit.
