SAWMILL RAMBUTAN. Instead of turning right towards Dingalan, we turned left at Sawmill. Yes there is such a place called that in Gabaldon, and the mountains around it are bare. Anyway, we turned left at Sawmill for no reason. It was a part of the town we have never been to. What’s in there? As it turns out, what’s in there is this grove of RAMBUTAN trees and these women harvesting the ones that have turned red today. How lucky! We love Rambutan and we know a lot of members do. We offered to buy all and they said “Swerte! Hindi na namin itra-tricycle sa bayan para ibenta.” We taste tested and man, there is nothing like Rambutan just off the tree. We realized that Rambutan is one fruit that never gets bruised. In this farm, it falls on grass and is doubly cushioned by the hairs that protect it like so many natural shock absorbers. Fresh! You will enjoy it as much as we are doing right now.
