STORM BANANAS

STORM BANANAS. This Nueva Vizcaya farmer was so relieved that his elderly mother’s BANANA trees were unscathed from the storm. Our farmers in Batangas are not so lucky. They have an unwilling harvest of SABA and GREEN CAVENDISH bananas, some 800 kilos. Unwilling kasi they harvested the bananas ahead of the storm as a precaution. RuRi has agreed to take it all, to pay the full price. How do the farmers feel about our decision? Relieved is such an understatement.
